Today 20/12/2009 we had a sunday lunch which was like no other...The customer care and service was so appalling that we would never return or recommend this restaurant again.We eat out regularly in the vale and heard about this restaurant,so we thought we would give it a try.We came from cowbridge having booked this as a christmas treet for our daughter and son- in -law.It was such a shame beacause the building is a jem and the food was very nice....but the service was diabolical......we had to ask for everything,even for our table to be cleared.The waitress was rude and disrespectful,and after 2 hours for the desert menu we finally gave up.We put on our coats,complained to the owner,and asked for the bill.She disappeared and after another long wait just standing there,we had to find her and was eventually given the bill.There were no appologies except she was busy!!!!!We booked our meals like other people so they were aware of the numbers.We've never experienced such an awfull attitude.....Complete amateur management and a complete lack of care.....Could be so good as they obviously have a good chef and lovely old building.
