If I'd written this review a few months ago it would have been a lot better, but I've just had a really awful customer experience at Pebbles and wanted to share it. I booked an appointment earlier this week for a dry trim. I arrived for the appointment on time, but I didn't appear to have been booked in. Cue a brief apology? No, but they could fit me in, which was good news. I sat and waited patiently. The woman who appeared to be about to cut my hair stood in the centre of the shop gazing out of the front window. I don't know what she was waiting for or staring at. Eventually she returned to finish the cut she had been doing when I arrived. The gentleman receiving this cut finally paid and left. Then the hairdresser continued to wander around the shop, eating biscuits, checking the phone, looking at products, nothing that seemed urgent. After waiting over 20mins I decided to leave. It was pretty frustrating being sat there without acknowledgement for so long. It wasn't my fault they hadn't booked my appointment and I would have expected better customer service. I left work early to attend the appointment and I just don't have the time to sit around for an unspecified duration. So, I've written off Pebbles now.
