164a Richmond Road,
Imperial were never too keen to come out and fix problems which arose with the property I rented. In one instance I had no hot water for three days. After the first year of rental I decided I would like to stay for one more year and was informed that I had to pay a finders fee of £160.00 in order to do so. A finders fee for a property which I had already found and lived in. At the end of the two years I decided to buy my own house and leave rented accomodation for good and thought it was just a matter of getting my bond back. No. Imperial withheld £160.00 of my £825.00 bond to cover damages which they couldn't prove. Luckily I took around 40 photos and a walk through video of the property before I left. This was dated using a newspaper from that day. Once my solicitor contacted them and produced the evidence they finally paid back the £160.00. Beware and cover your back before you leave your property because it seems almost standard practise for them to try this trick. I have met 3 other people this has happened to. Other than that what a great company LOL.
