About Us

Brief description

We are a small group in Wales who help Pit Ponies and all the other needy horses & ponies we can with our meagre resources. Charity number 1002933. Please help us help them!
Open for visitors April - Oct 10am-2pm weekdays, closed Saturdays, Sunday 10am - 4pm. Oct - March by appointment only please.

Our guides are "Welcome Host trained. The Charity is a founding member of the All Party Group for Animal Welfare with the Welsh National Assembly. We are registred with the Information Commissioners and members of the Mueseums Association.

We are a Sanctuary for genuine Pit Ponies and currently have 8 Pit Ponies residing with us. Come and meet the last few of what must be a forgotten "Welsh National Icon"?
