  We had the miss fortune to have this company thrust upon us by Crawfords loss adjuster after a fire at or home. Mr Richard Porch was the man in charge of the refurbishment of our home even though he knew very little if anything about fire damage to property and the standard treatment that should be carried out. He just looked at the damage, made up a tender document which was �£10's thousands to low and sent it out to a list of builders. We had phone call from the top builders that Crawfords would use asking us “why have we sent a surveyor and that the tender was to low for any good builder to do the work” Mr Richard Porch instructed his builder who he said “is very good and I have worked with him before and he will do a good job” he lied, the work was bed to say the least. There were French doors on the back of the house but when we got the photographs from the estate agent not from Richard Porch who had no batteries for his camera even though there was a shop less than 50 meters from the house, the French doors were now a cheep soft wood door. This is how Jenkins Porch and Partners work and how they treat everything they do. So if you want it cheep go to them if you want it right go somewhere else.   We had a house fire and Richard Porch was sent he had no idea about fire damage or how much it cost to repair. He put out a tender that was �£10,000+ to low then instructed to worst builders in Cardiff who lied and cheated to get the work don for the quote. Where we had French windows he put soft wood doors. covered the loft with floor boards but left all the rubbish and burnt timbers underneath. there are still burn marks everywhere. He told us that B&Q did not do the kitchen any more so fitted a shocking replacement. they removed all the new light fitting and left bulbs on bit of wire. Mr Porch was supposed to supply us with pictures of the work but the battery's in his camera were flat and he would not walk 50m to the shop so we did not get to see this until it was to late. We lost �£50,000 on the value of the house. If you want to see more of this and the video and our surveyors report on what was left then look on the internet. Use this company at your own risk.
