THE COMPANY THAT REALLY DELIVERS John Evans Haulage has been established since 1983 and commenced business as a husband and wife team, initially with one vehicle delivering flour for a local flour mill. The company quickly grew by following traditional values of providing a high quality service and flexibility at a competitive cost. We now operate from modern premises, located within the port complex at Barry, which includes a 60,000 sq ft warehouse, fleet maintenance facility and administration offices. Prudent financial controls has ensured that we have been able to invest in modern and environmentally friendly vehicles across the fleet; together with 13.6 metre curtain sided trailer, several being equipped with tail lift facilities. We are fortunate to have a team of experienced and well motivated people in all areas of our operation, whose knowledge and skills have quickly adapted to meet the needs of a demanding market and wide customer base. Five years ago we joined Palletways, the UK’s market leader in Express Pallet Distribution as members for the CF and NP post codes, we recently added the BS post code region. During this period we have become one of the leading operators in this market sector, which is one of the fastest growing areas in the UK Distribution Industry.
